Remembering with Purpose

As the one-year anniversary approaches of my Jazz’s (Pumpkin’s) transition, I found myself beginning to tear often and doing very odd things.  The body truly does have a memory.  But like a gentle whisper in my ear, I am reminded of all the things his spirit taught me – Braveness, Comfort, Constancy, Pure Love, Trust, Healthy Selfishness, Importance of Pace, Heart Listening, Forgiveness, Optimism, Absolute Awareness, Acceptance, Breath, and Letting Go with Love.  In remembering the greatness of the beloved (human or animal), and evolving into the magnitude of such a God given gift – I find peace, joy, and purpose.
